Terms of Service

These Terms of Service contain important information about becoming a Tenerifegolf.com Member (Tenerife Golf Card Holder), including your rights and responsibilities. Your purchase or use of the Tenerife Golf Card constitutes acceptance of and agreement to abide by the following Terms of Service. Tenerifegolf.com reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any given time. Please check the website for any updates.

These Terms of Service will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes relating to these conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.

1. Definitions:

We – refers to Tenerifegolf 2000 S.L., the owner of the Tenerifegolf.com website

You / Member / Holder – refers to you as a Tenerife golf.com member and holder of a valid Tenerife Golf Card

Website – refers to  www.tenerifegolf.com website

Partner – refers to a golf course, hotel, restaurant, shop or any other service provider offering a discount or a special offer to Tenerifegolf.com Members

Office - our office is located in Parque de La Reina, Caňada Blanca 2, 38-632 Tenerife

Any references made to the masculine gender will also be referring to the feminine gender and any references made to the feminine gender will also be referring to the masculine gender.

2. Becoming a Tenerifegolf.com Member

An individual can purchase Tenerifegolf.com membership online throught our website and at locations listed on our website.

In order to purchase the membership online an applicant should register an account with Tenerifegolf.com by visiting http://www.tenerifegolf.com/user/register and pay the annual  membership fee.
If you purchase the membership online Tenerife Golf Card will be sent to you using the address provided during the registration within 14 days from the day when the payment was completed. If you prefer to pick up the card in our office please notify us within 3 days from the day of the purchase. While we do our best to ensure the card will arrive in the shortest possible time, we cannot be held responsible for any delays in the postal service. Tenerifegolf.com does not guarantee shipping and does not accept any liability for it. If Tenerife Golf Card is lost during shipping, one additional Card can be issued free of charge. This additional card can be picked up in our office or sent to you at your expense.

If membership is not purchased throught the website, an applicant must still fill in an application form which is handed to him. Provided information will be used to register an account on the website for him. Login details will be send to the provided e-mail address. A valid Tenerife Golf Card will be handed to the Member at the moment of purchase.

We reserve the right to deny the application and not process the payment of the membership fee. You declare that the information provided in the form is true, complete and correct. You authorise Tenerifegolf.com to process the provided data for updates, promotions and offers from our partners.

The membership fee is non-refundable.

3. Tenerife Golf Card

Each Tenerifegolf.com Member is issued a Tenerife Golf Card. Included on the card is the Member's name, membership number and expiration date. Tenerife Golf Card may not be used by any person other than the person to whom it is issued.

Tenerife Golf Card is valid until the end of the month in which the membership was purchased and then for another 12 months. For example if membership was purchased on the 15th of October, the card would be valid until the end of October the following year.

Tenerifegolf.com Membership  and Tenerife Golf Card are not transferable to any third party.  The card can be replaced if lost, damaged or stolen. You should immediately notify us in case of any of the above. The lost,stolen or damaged card becomes invalid. The cost of issuing a replacement card is 10 Euros plus the shipping costs if they apply.

Terife Golf Card cannot be redeemed for cash. Lack of use of the Tenerife Golf Card and its associated benefits does not constitute a refund of the membership fee.

4. Tenerifegolf.com website account

Each Tenerifegolf.com Member shall be responsible for keeping their member information (including mailing address and email address) up to date. Member information can be updated by visiting http://www.tenerifegolf.com/user and logging into the Member's account.

5. Discounts and Special offers

All discounts except green fee discounts apply to the Tenerifegolf.com Members and accompanying guests. Green fee discounts apply to the Tenerifegolf.com Members only.

Each Member must present his Tenerife Golf Card and photo identification (Driver's License, ID or Passport) to our Partner in order to receive a discount or a special offer. Our Partners reserve the right to refuse the discount or special offer if no valid identification is available. If the membership Card is suspected or found to be tampered, Partner has the right to refuse the discount and inform Tenerifegolf.com.

When making a booking for a service with the Tenerife Golf Card, the holder of the card must inform the Partner that they intend to make redemption of the discount using the Tenerife Golf Card. The service is always subject to availability.

To claim your discount, you must present your Tenerife Golf Card before paying any deposit or when you request the bill and not after the bill is issued. Presenting the card after requesting the bill or any paid deposit forfeit member’s right for the discount.

Discounts and special offers may not apply on Public Holidays and special occasions such as Valentines’ Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and Easter. Partners decide whether to apply discounts or not on these days and on their eves.

Discounts apply only to purchases, bookings and reservations made directly with our Partners and not through intermediaries or other organizations.

The discounts and special offers are not to be used in conjunction with any other offers.

Some Partners may be subject to temporary closure due to unforeseen circumstances. No refunds can be given in the event of any such temporary closure.

Tenerifegolf.com only provides the Tenerife Golf Card and not any other service. Any problems or bad experiences arising from any of our Partners are to be tackled with them.  We are not responsible and not liable for any legal issues that may arise. However please inform us in case of any of the mentioned above.

We cannot be held responsible for cancellation of services, offers and discounts no longer being available by the participating establishments.

We have exercised all reasonable efforts to ensure that all information published on our website is accurate. However conditions of advertised discounts and special offers may be subject to change. All Members are advised to check all relevant information and details on our website and with the Partners prior to visiting.

All Members and their guests are expected to abide by the rules, regulations, and restrictions at our Partners' establishments (such as, check-in and check-out procedures, cancellation procedures, smoking and no-smoking restrictions and dress codes).

6. Vouchers

Every special offer is available only once per card and requires presentation of a voucher. Vouchers redeemable for special offers can only be picked up by the Member in our office.

Vouchers are valid only with a valid Tenerife Golf Card.
